A proud Queens native and Jackson Heights resident, Bridget enjoys the 34th Avenue Open Street regularly.

Visit the 34th Avenue Open Street and meet entrepreneurs, artists, activists, and Queens community members who are reimagining post-pandemic New York City. 34th Avenue closes to vehicular traffic each day from 8am to 8pm, allowing local residents to jog, stroll, ride bikes, and socialize while maintaining physical distance. Explore narrator profiles that combine written word, audio, and photography to tell the story of individuals who are reshaping their lives around 34th Avenue, and the larger stories of a street, of a neighborhood, and of the COVID-19 pandemic.
