2021 Bio Elizabeth Jefimova

Elizabeth Jefimova was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. During the course of her undergraduate studies at Brooklyn College she began interviewing veterans and collecting stories of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) both during and post-service. While at Columbia she interned with the State Department and Veterans Administration, and wrote her graduate thesis on the impact of higher education institutions on student veteran experience. Elizabeth hopes to attend law school one day and join the Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
