This website portrays the land’s history and shares the stories of individuals linked together by their lives in this place. The paths crossing this 300-acre urban site hold the stories of individuals across thousands of years representing nomadic indigenous tribes, the slave plantation era, and a mental health hospital. As the city develops the land into a park, it is their goal to honor and remember these legacies by gathering their descendants' and representatives' oral histories.
