2023 Bio Amalia Schwarzschild

Amalia Schwarzschild (She/Her) is a native New Yorker and Oral Historian. She entered OHMA in 2020 after obtaining her bachelor's degree from Hampshire College in Anthropology, Ethnography, and Afro-Latin American Studies. For her thesis, Amalia looked deeply into the stories of her own birth story and adoption story, after meeting her biological family in 2021. In her free time, you can find Amalia playing with her two cats Zion and Juju, enjoying her music, and cleaning her room.
