She is an oral history master’s student at Columbia University and has previously earned a double degree in Communications and Economics from UCLA. She is interested in connecting personal narratives with broader social science disciplines to analyze history and society, especially during the pandemic era.
COVID-19 pauses the global world and unprecedentedly holds people in minimum social space for a long time. When spending a mass of time staying in their room, the artist narrators reflect on the world order and the definition of nature. Their insightful musings on sociology and ecology offer a fresh perspective on the events of the past three years. Their unique artistic perspectives inspire them to create artwork embodying their pandemic memories and thinking.
