2025 Sage Foster
Sage Foster (she/her) is an oral historian in training based in Brooklyn. Working across audio, film, and writing, her work braids together psychoanalytic and semiotic theory, oral history, and sound studies to ask questions about listening, intersubjectivity, and the relational self. She is interested in the pedagogy of listening, collaborative narrative building, and social practice. She has assisted with artist interviews for galleries, museums, and other arts organizations, and facilitated workshops, group interviews, and listening parties about themes like home, memory, and play.
