“FLI from Stanford” explores the stories of people who were first-generation and/or low-income students at Stanford University. How did they come to be at Stanford? What were their experiences during their time there? What do their lives look like after Stanford?
What does it mean to be a first-generation and/or low-income (FLI) graduate of Stanford University? I asked Stanford FLI alumni to tell me about their experiences–how they came to be at Stanford, their experiences during their time there, and their lives after Stanford. What can their stories and reflections tell us more broadly about higher education in the U.S. and all that is implicated with it?
