COVID-19 pauses the global world and unprecedentedly holds people in minimum social space for a long time. When spending a mass of time staying in their room, the artist narrators reflect on the world order and the definition of nature. Their insightful musings on sociology and ecology offer a fresh perspective on the events of the past three years. Their unique artistic perspectives inspire them to create artwork embodying their pandemic memories and thinking. Entering this virtual space and listening to their stories—revisit the past three years of the pandemic.
Step into the immersive world of our virtual gallery exhibition, where you'll be transported to a space featuring captivating and thought-provoking works of art by the talented RISD artists, Jinha Kang and Raven Hu. Take your time to fully appreciate and interpret their art installations, and allow their creations to inspire you. As you move from the gallery to the website, you'll be drawn into the artists' worlds even further, as you listen to several engaging oral history interview clips. These intimate conversations with the artists provide insight into their memories and the inspiration behind their art, offering a unique perspective on the pandemic era. Their stories invite you to delve deeper into your own thoughts and emotions and to reflect on the impact of this unprecedented time on our lives.
