Inside International House is an auditory and visual journey through the lives of residents of International House NYC, an international living-learning community created by Harry Edmonds with funding from the Rockefeller family in 1924. This photo series and oral history experience allows viewers to dive into the inner lives of International House NYC residents, through photographs of resident rooms and recordings about life at the house from residents. Inside International House investigates how a standard 8’x11’ room can reveal identity, personality, and cultural ties.
Note: This was a live exhibit open only to International House community members.
